Do I need a counsellor?

Do I need a counsellor?

“I have got so many things going around in my head and I can’t make any sense of it, so how can a complete stranger even know where to start, let alone help me?”

“Maybe what is going on in my life isn’t that big a deal and it will just go away on its own…?”

Those are just two…
Of the many reasons that I hear people using to “justify” not getting the counselling they need. Perhaps you recognise them in yourself? Or maybe you have found another justification to convince yourself not to seek the help you deserve?

Deciding to work with a counsellor will make a difference. And that difference is that I can help to untangle what is going on for you. And then you will learn the tools to manage the situation in the future.

So how do we do this….
Counselling is often referred to as a “talking therapy”. So together we will chat privately about what is or has been going on for you. It is a completely uncensored space where you can talk freely about how this ‘stuff’ is for you and how it is impacting you and your daily life.

My clients come to visit me in person, chat with me over the phone, or connect remotely via Zoom.

Which will be easier for you?

Feel free to explore…
My website. Find out more about me, and check the Counselling and Support pages which will help answer some of your concerns. And please don’t hesitate to drop me an email should you still have questions that remain unanswered. Because it is very important to me that you feel completely comfortable with what counselling is and what it can offer you.

Over the years…

I have helped numerous people just like you through counselling. And as a result, I have reams of client testimonials that were just too good not to share with you! So have a look at my Testimonials page and see what others are saying about me.
