So, what is this coaching all about anyway?

It’s about having a supportive person to help you focus on ‘that one thing’ that seems to elude you. Making you accountable and, being on your side all the way.

If you are willing to give it your all, I will roll up my sleeves and support you.

And it’s bespoke, because as we all know, one size never fits all!

So what size are you? 

Well, maybe you are an individual who feels “stuck in a rut” and can’t see the way out? Or you are starting your own business and have no idea to where to begin, Perhaps you have your business up-and-running, but feels like it could be doing more…. Or is it that you’d like to start a new hobby, change jobs, or work on your communication with your child(ren).

Together, coaching can also help work through reoccurring patterns  which may appear to be stopping you from thriving.

Whilst I can see the importance of counselling – (I would say that of course, I’m a counsellor!) – sometimes we need guidance in goal-setting and the support and accountability to get from A to B. And that, is where I come in…

And how does it work?

Step 1. Firstly, we will have a Discovery Call – just you and I, over the phone. This is likely to be around 20 or 30 minutes, And during this time I can gauge where you are and the type of coach you are looking for. This gives you a great opportunity to see if together we are the right “fit”.

Step 2. We will book in a 90-minute session where together we will get a clear picture of what it is that you want to achieve and what this means to you. I will also make sure that we both fully understand what has stopped or derailed you in the past. I will give you honest feedback and I ask the same of you too. If something I am doing isn’t working, I need to know. Then together we can set achievable goals.

Step 3. I offer follow-up sessions of an hour or an hour and a half – your choice. We will use these sessions to work towards your goal or goals, which may even change as we move forward together. These follow-up sessions are designed to help you get from where you are to where you want to be. Above all, my job is to make you accountable. Accountability is something I encourage 100%. By this time you will have already invested approximately 2 hours with me, so following up on your investment makes perfect sense. Because surely achieving your goal is priceless.

Communication coaching

I provide coaching to help improve communication. Everything – and I mean everything – involves communication. And as you already know, communication is something that we do every day. Why, then, does it seem to have little or no structured training?

Of course, we learn how to communicate by observing the way people around us communicate. And yes, we listen, observe and even study how we ourselves receive communication from others. And we don’t get communication wrong all the time, of course. But it does happen,,. and far more regularly than it needs to.

But why me?

I qualified as a counsellor in 2013 and now run a successful private practice. This wasn’t luck, it was down to hard graft and business insight that I learned and from my previous roles. 

In my role as a counsellor, communication is one of the biggest areas that trips people up – time and time again, in fact. There is a great saying that I love: “Strong people don’t put others down, they lift them up”.
